Rumeysa Gelgi, a 27-year-old from Turkey, is a researcher and advocate. She stands an incredible 7 feet 7.1 inches tall! Her extraordinary height earned her the Guinness World Record for the tallest living woman in 2021.
Jyoti Amge, a 30-year-old actress from India, is just 2 feet 7 inches tall. She has held the record for the world’s shortest woman since 2011. Both women have inspired millions through their stories and positive attitudes toward life.

Their first meeting was truly magical. A BBC video captured the moment when Gelgi greeted Amge with a warm “Hello, how are you?” Amge smiled brightly, waved, and responded happily.
“It was so lovely to meet the tallest woman in the world for the first time,” Amge shared. “She is so kind, and I felt really comfortable with her.”
Gelgi felt the same way. “We both love self-care, makeup, doing our nails, and jewelry,” she said. Their shared interests helped them connect quickly.
