You should never judge a book by its cover.
You’re familiar with the proverb, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”? Yes, this particular story is more than good proof of it.
The idea that elderly people are more vulnerable to exploitation just isn’t true, despite what you might believe. Older people could be just as strong, if not stronger, which is especially true if they were professional boxers.
These two evil criminals made an attempt to mug an elderly man but failed when they discovered that he was much tougher than they had anticipated.

To put it another way, you shouldn’t assume anything about someone’s abilities based just on how they appear to you!
It’s a real shame because this man probably believed his fighting days were gone. It turned out that just when he was starting to relax, he had to use his physical strength once more, this time to defend his goods and his life.
These crooks are even worse than typical robbers. Why? Because they tried to steal from someone they believed could not defend themselves in addition to being thieves, which is bad.
In 2015, a video of these two drunk men attempting to mug the older man surfaced online and had since gone viral. A surveillance camera captured the entire incident.
We first observe one of the muggers approach the defenceless victim in the video. He seems to be being forcefully yelled at by the robber. The target of their attempted mugging simply stands there with his arms crossed in front of him.
The robber then collapses to the ground as the elderly man suddenly swings his fist in his direction. The second robber approaches and attempts to defend, but he is quickly overcome by the man’s punches.
The second thief doesn’t give up right away and attempts to take a swing, but the older man—being a professional boxer and all—simply stops the motion and strikes back with another punch, knocking the thief to the ground.
It is, without a doubt, one of the badass videos we have recently seen, and the rest of the world appears to agree because it has hundreds of millions of views.
It’s very amazing that the elderly man was able to get both of these robbers to the ground and surrender in under a minute. He nearly made it appear simple (which it probably was for him). You cannot claim that he lacks exceptional skill. It appears that his career-long fights are continuing to pay off.
They were deserving of their punishment, too! It only serves as an example of what might happen when you try to pick on someone you perceive to be weak.
We can only hope that when we are this man’s age, we will be half as physically fit. It is quite amazing!
