An American woman who experienced a three-hour flight from hell has urged airlines to provide child-free flights.

Morgan Lee, a Florida mother, made the statement on TikTok following a deeply unsettling encounter with a child who undoubtedly didn’t like their journey.

“Why aren’t there flights for adults only? I’d spend so much money on that “With the video, which has since received over 650,000 views, she made a statement.

The 24-year-old continued, “I listened to this the whole three hours of the flight.

The child was well over five years old, they were sitting behind me, and they were kicking my chair as the mother slept. I have noise-canceling headphones.

Parents criticized Lee on the popular app, who now resides in Vienna, Austria.

And this is why people, parents, and mothers experience anxiety when leaving the house. A user commented that grace is not maintained

A second made a scathing jab at the heart of the matter: “Poor you. My heart breaks for you because of the length of time you were subjected to another person’s screams. Hope you’re feeling better now.”

Some parents used Lee’s video as a “duet” to mock her in front of their followers; one of the videos called Lee “disgusting” and a “cretin.”

According to one user, there is an option if she wants to spend “so much” for flights without kids: “They’re called private jets and you can book a private trip and pay as much as you want to have the plane to yourself.”

However, other people joined the conversation in the comments besides angry parents.

To have some peace, some parents claimed they would also be willing to pay more.

“As a mom, I want an adult-only flight too,” one user commented.

Others popped some popcorn and observed the mums’ outbursts.

Numerous others share Morgan’s desire, according to a 2017 survey.

According to Business Insider, half of the parents who participated in the study said they should be required to sit in a specific area for the comfort of others.

There are currently kid-free zones on board some foreign flights, including Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Scoot Airlines, and IndiGo.

    1. They do have an area where I don’t think you would have anyone kicking the seat, it’s called 1st class.
Personally I don’t see much difference between the baby crying and her complaint except you’d expect a baby to cry and a 24 year old to be more adult .

    2. My daughter first flew at 3 1/2 from PA to FL, with her dad & I. I did “pretend flying” with her in the kitchen so she’d know what to expect. She was a great passenger, which served her well as her dad moved to FL & she flew as an unaccompanied minor beginning at age 4 1/2.

As for this situation, the child should have been tended to. A plane, like a restaurant, is shared space. The flight attendant should have awakened the mother to tend to her child. No kicking the back of a chair & no crying. The mother should have taken the child to the restroom and spoken with her. Perhaps they could have moved this passenger to first class, or moved mom & the child to the back of the plane.

Children who throw tantrums in a public place should be removed until they calm down. This mother was at fault for abdicating her responsibility as a parent. I feel badly for the child, as she was ignored by her mother.

I don’t blame the passenger for expressing her feelings of frustration, as the situation should have been handled by the parent and/or the flight attendant. If it were me, I would have asked a flight attendant to awaken the mom, and I would have tried to talk to the child softly and perhaps calm her down. But for the grace of God go I.

    3. I agree kid free flights are a good thing as a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 7 , I think in all fairness people shouldn’t have to listen and be abused by others children kicking seats wiggling around being loud . I love all my kids and grandchildren but fair is fair, children can be disruptive in regular situations but lock them up and they can transform into loud unruly children.
Having an adult only flight allows for an option if you choose to take a family flight then you know it’s possible your flight will have a crying or loud child or 2 . No right to complain if it’s your choice.

    4. Several years ago my parents and I took a 5 or 6 hr. flight from Barcelona to New York. Our flight was delayed for an hour or so. Then after getting on this couple got on with their 1 1/2 to 2 year old beautiful baby daughter. Fortunately they sat about 10 rows in back of us as that beautiful child started screaming the moment we took off and didn’t quit until we landed. I do not know how a child could scream that long without passing out from exhaustion, but she did. I did feel sorry for her parents and the people who were closer, but it was the flight from hell.

    5. 100% Agree it’s a great idea for adults only section on anyone’s traveling accommodation..Plaines buses train etc. Not everyone wants children .. so there should not be no judgement from those that do want children… just saying my opinion from a mother of 3 grown babies… it should a person choices always.. FREEDOM to CHOOSE would be GREAT

    6. There is no excuse for the Mother of that child to not stop the seat kicking! Remember that some children experience severe pain from the pressure change. The child should have been given things to entertain themselves. The Mother was at fault!
