The Amazing Story Of A Son Who Transported His Ill Mother To A Nursing Home

He didn’t visit his mother all that much till one day when it became apparent that she wasn’t feeling well and wanted to see him. In response to his shocking question about what further he could do for her, the woman with the last strength said:

Because social media accounts today reveal our private lives, one man made the decision to share a very moving story with the entire world in an effort to prevent others from making the same mistake he did.

When he abandoned his mother, she was residing in a nursing home, and before she passed away, she asked her son to make changes to the facility since it was so awful.

“I thought the best thing to do after my father died was to take my mother to a nursing home. I’m sorry for not giving her life or comfort even a brief thought. I totally accept that I was selfish since I didn’t want my life to depend on her.

In order to capture the farewell that I could never have imagined, I raced to the nursing home when the day eventually came, and I discovered that she wasn’t doing well. Her gaze was decreasing, and I could feel a tear weeping in my spirit, so I asked her what else I could do to make her feel a bit better.

She revealed to me that the main reason she wanted to leave the nursing facility was that there were instances when she was left without food due to broken freezers, when she was unable to breathe in the heat and humidity due to broken fans, and when she was unable to sleep due to sliding back springs.

As I heard her words, I felt like the ground was giving way beneath my feet. I was baffled as to why she had chosen this particular moment to tell me this information rather than before when I might have been able to do something for her. I also got an answer that completely changed my life.

She strongly cautioned me to be careful with the things I left behind and stated that this is why she wanted to modernize the nursing home because she was afraid that one day, possibly, my children would leave me there, and I would go through what she did. “What you give is what you receive,” she said as she closed.

    1. We take my husband out to eat every weekend. I could not take care of him after a while. I cared for him almost 2 years after a massive stroke. The only way I know what is happening with him is to visit. Holidays he is home overnight.

    2. two things that I am always sorry for

1 I DID NOT TO TAKE THE TIME TO TEACH MY PARENTS HOW TO READ

Children think – you only have your parents once in your life.
They gave you like, so give them the respect they deserve
