This narrative has a miraculous twist, even though it is heartbreaking in many ways.
A stray mother dog died instantly after being struck by a vehicle. We are incredibly grateful that she did not suffer pain. She did, however, abandon three puppies that needed immediate attention. This story is about a dog with a solid attachment to its mother. And his perseverance.

The puppy, too young and loyal to his mother to grasp what had occurred, clung to his mother even though she had died. When the little family was discovered, the one puppy continued to cuddle against Mama, attempting to wake her up. He had no intention of abandoning the mother he loved.
When the animal rescuers attempted to separate the puppy from his mother, he wailed loudly. The kind humans realized they had to handle this particular dog with caution. They decided to give the mom dog a beautiful funeral.
They placed her down and covered her with a blanket and flower petals. When it came time for her remains to be cremated, they let the puppy say one last goodbye.
The pup, who was now adored by his rescuers, stood by and watched as his mother passed away. His new human friends did their best to convey to him that Mama was going to a great place and that they would be reunited one day. It would take time, but the puppy would recover emotionally.
The vet and his colleagues focused on keeping all three puppies as healthy as possible. They needed to be vaccinated and treated for fleas and parasites. All the puppies were taken to a local shelter once they received a clean bill of health.
The rescuers are dedicated to all three puppies, but they are especially concerned about one of them and his mental well-being. During this challenging period, he will want constant comfort. They will be offered for adoption as soon as they age. Fortunately, there are families interested in adopting all three dogs.
We know this is a tragic situation, but it is also a reality that stray animals confront regularly. We are extremely glad that the pups were saved in time. We are especially pleased that the dog, which requires additional attention, is receiving everything he needs and more!
