Grandparents are second only to expecting parents in terms of excitement over a new pregnancy.
When her dad learned that she was expecting, Jessica Vigansky was fortunate enough to receive such a response, and now the video she recorded has thousands of people in tears.
A pacifier is a strange gift Jessica gives her dad in the video. He giggles and starts to throw it away, saying, “This looks like something you used to suck on when you were small.” Then, pointing to a small tag tied to the side, Jessica replies, “You should probably read it.”
The nice man can hardly believe his eyes when he learns that he will become a grandfather from the tag. As he takes in the information, he gives the Paci a heartfelt hug and smiles tenderly.
He appears unaware that he is being recorded because he doesn’t even look at the camera that is pointed at him. He just holds the pacifier like it’s the most important item in the world to him and smiles in surprise, asking his daughter repeatedly, “really?”
His tears then begin to fall (ours, too). He can’t control his emotions since he is so overcome with love, joy, and excitement.
The video received thousands of views and comments very quickly. This adorable upcoming grandpa is loved by everyone. Someone wrote, “He’s going to be the best snuggler,” while another said, “I think I saw stars and love in his eyes,” essentially referring to the man as a human emoji.
It’s obvious from this loving response that this infant is one lucky child to have this man as his grandpa!
