Valerie eventually decided to sell the crib in a garage sale. Still, she was unprepared for what happened after she did. This lovely tale is now doing the rounds on the internet.

Valerie couldn’t bring herself to sell Noah’s belongings or even touch the nursery she had created for him after the horrific experience of giving birth to her deceased son. She was so upset that she ignored it for a year.

In May 2014, she believed she had gathered enough stamina to hold a garage sale and sell Noah’s belongings and baby items. It was a difficult decision, but she pushed herself to sell some of the items, particularly the crib, to which she seemed to be the most devoted.

In the back of her mind, she reasoned that it would be the last thing anyone would want to buy.

Gerald, an older man, took a fancy to the piece of furniture, much to her surprise. Gerald restored antique furniture in his spare time and believed he could use the crib. He was passionate about getting it, but he could sense Valerie’s hesitation.

“She appeared apprehensive, and I suspected she didn’t want to sell it.” Nonetheless, she did,” he told Fox9.

Gerald had no idea why the garage sale was taking place. He’d observed Valerie selling baby things and believed her child had grown up, and she no longer required all of this.

He had no idea that his wife, who was also at the garage sale, had been conversing with Valarie and had asked her how old her child was. Valarie stated that her kid died in July, which broke her heart.

Gerald loaded the crib into their car and drove home with his wife. While they were driving, his wife recounted Valerie’s story. They recognized how much this crib must have meant to her and why she was unwilling to sell it. They decided they had to return the furnishings.

But Gerald saw that having it in the shape of a crib may be just as terrible, so he chose to convert it into a beautiful bench as a monument for Noah.
