In Light Of The Loss Of His Great-Grandmother, Princess Catherine Disclosed Prince Louis’ Heartfelt First Words

When she and Prince William told Prince Louis about the passing of his great-grandmother, Princess Catherine revealed the kind words he said.

The Queen’s grandsons, Princes William and Harry, welcomed visitors to Windsor yesterday along with their wives, Catherine and Meghan. Crowds gathered at Windsor Castle to show their respect for Queen Elizabeth II.

The four royals were spotted on Windsor Castle’s Long Walk waving to spectators, admiring the tributes left for the Queen, and reading the messages and cards left with flowers at the gates. However, Princess Catherine made a kind comment about her youngest son that moved the audience to tears.

Banita Ranow, 28, a fan of the royal family, overheard Catherine discussing her kids’ feelings when the Queen passed away. Louis added, “At least Grannie is with great grandpa now,” Banita reported that Kate was “welling up” as she told them this.

Baljinder Ranow, who was in Windsor on Saturday with her granddaughter Banita, continued, “I felt so emotional and I believed the Queen would have loved it.”

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in May was a great example of the close relationship Prince Louis and Queen Elizabeth II had. Prince Louis asked her enthusiastically, “Are the Red Arrows coming?” as he stood next to her on the balcony and watched the royals wait for the Red Arrows. The Queen replied, “I hope so,” according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman.

The crowds at Windsor had been gathered in a sad atmosphere, but when the four senior royals arrived yesterday, the crowd broke out in applause.

According to The Telegraph(opens in new tab), William, the new Prince of Wales, requested Harry and Meghan to go on the walkabout with him and Kate in Windsor. The Duke & Duchess of Sussex were invited to join the Prince of Wales and the Princess of Wales earlier, a palace spokesperson said.

The two royal couples are claimed to have spent about forty minutes conversing with spectators before waving goodbye and posing for a picture before departing for the palace.
