Grandpa Is Now Playing Pokemon Go On 21 Different Mobile Devices In An Effort To Catch Them All

As he cycles through the streets of Taiwan, going from raid to raid, 70-year-old Pokemon Go master Chen San-yuan has now increased the number of phones he uses.

Anyone who has played Pokemon Go on their phone knows how challenging it can be to manage one or two accounts when they are out and about traveling to the next gym or raid but imagine attempting to manage 21 phones while also riding a bike.

Last year, 70-year-old Chen San-yuan made headlines for carrying 11 phones across Taiwan on his trusty bicycle, but it appears that Chen has since taken the decision to level up and double the number of accounts he previously had.

Since his grandson introduced him to the game in 2016, Chen, a Pokemon master, has been a dedicated player. With 21 accounts and a bike, Chen plays Pokemon Go to keep his mind and body busy.

The front of Chen’s handlebars are covered with phone connections, and he occasionally stops to rapidly tap them all up as if he were playing a massive organ in a church. Chen was spotted playing Pokemon Go on all 21 of his phones while stopped at the side of the road by Twitter user SCMcrocodile.

Even though the video only displays 21 iPhones, Chen actually has two more tucked away within the front basket of his bike.

Only 20 people can enter a single raid at a time. Thus Chen is unable to use all of his phones at once. Despite this, the elderly man appears to be having a great time, so it doesn’t really matter. However, I assume that this 70-year-old has more common sense than folks half his age. I only wonder how he can see over the handlebars and avoid getting into an accident.

I’m not going to lie. This is pure genius. I do have a few inquiries, though, regarding this peacock bike:

  • How much money did he invest in all of these smartphones?
  • How much money does he now spend on charging wires and external batteries?
  • How much does his phone bill now cost each month?
  • Does this bike break any traffic regulations?
  • How can he ride his bike down the street while using several smartphones?

I’m hoping that when I eventually retire, I’ll have enough money to spare and the time to flex as hard as Chen does with Pokémon Go.

What do you think?
