It has been reported that Archie and Lilibet cannot use the titles of Prince and Princess until King Charles decides whether to let them do so. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, residing in California after resigning from their royal responsibilities in 2020, are said to be displeased with the decision.
The Sussexes are rumored to be afraid that Charles may take away the titles from their two children because he took little to recognize them after the late Queen passed away. Archie, 3, and Lili, 1, are automatically princes and princesses as they are the royal son’s offspring and are qualified to wear His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness hairstyles.
However, they are still identified as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor on the official website of the Royal Family. The late Queen’s wishes for his children came up in a “short talk” that Harry and his father had following her passing.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex made it plain that he wanted to allow Archie and Lilibet to make that decision when they were older. Thus they would need to hold onto their titles for the time being.
The session concluded with no resolution, leaving the Sussexes upset.

They don’t deserve it,if they have gave up their royal duties and left the country then it should end their status as HRH,them and their children since they have turned their backs on all of it that should be gone to!

By law, Archie & Lilibeth are Prince & Princess. However, they can’t use the titles until the King gives approval. Also, I believe once the King allows the titles; they can get security. Since the Markles are in America; I’m assuming they’ll get an allowance to pay for it.
They are the king’s grandchildren, he should at least recognize them.
Seeing as Harry has stated his childhood was so horrible as a royal it makes no sense he would want to give his children the same. The titles should not be given seeing as both Harry and Meghan went running to the US claiming how awful life in the firm really is. They should not be able to make money off of the firm and should be restricted from speaking about the royals.

I thought the late Queen had already sanctioned it. It would be inappropriate for Charles to change it now in my opinion. Perhaps it’s time for forgiveness and bringing them back into the fold. 🙏🥰
If they resigned, the children are no longer eligible for the titles. Don’t blame Charles.
I’m sorry I really am but Harry and Markle wanted out! The way they BOTH especially Harry treated his Grandmother neither they or their children deserve a title!!! Harry & Meg ham gave up the title Royalty, so any ofspring cant be royalty. To me your either all in or your all out. Is she after the free security that she thinks her childeren should get? Yes because she beleives it should be 24 hr seven days a week. They wont need to pay out of harry n her pockets. After all they cant be earning any thing. I dont think theyre working.

I like the upstarts. But they do seem to want to have their cake and eat it, too. If their kids want the titles later can’t the kids ask the reigning monarch to restore them?
