A Duluth police officer says he is fortunate to have a 6-year-old on his side. The friendship between experienced officer Rolf Seiferheld and young Harrison Humphries, who aspires to be a police officer, began a few months ago while the officer was on duty downtown.
The young boy, age 6, inquired, “How long have you worked at the police station?”They support one another. Humphries makes certain Seiferheld maintains the order of his tools. The policeman also sees to it that Harrison puts his shoes on.
Harrison also won’t tolerate anyone approaching his partner secretly.Harrison said, “She’s behind you,” as Kaitlyn Ross of 11Alive placed her camera over Seiferheld’s shoulder.

They are partners, according to Harrison’s story. He wishes to become a skilled detective, and this is his goal. The reason he wants to work as a police officer is also clear to him.He said, “Help folks get better.”Seiferheld also desired to work as a police officer for essentially the same reasons.

Tara, Harrison’s mother, praised Seiferheld for treating her kid with respect and love.She claimed that “not many people will take the time or maybe they’re terrified.”According to her, Seiferheld treats Harrison the same as any other young person who aspires to be a police officer.
“Harrison was born without arms and with only his hips, fibulas, and femurs due to the lack of leg bones. However, it was claimed that he would never be able to walk, feed himself, or perform any other activity, “she stated.
Harrison is apparently capable of anything. In the same way that other people use their hands, he also uses his feet.
He attempts to dress after brushing his teeth and hair, she claimed.
He wants to be a cop or the chief of police.Tara is confident Harrison can be with Seiferheld as his mentor.She stated, “I believe this is a relationship that can continue to grow, a partnership, which is what a community should be.
The two will continue to work side by side, appreciative of their union.Every Friday night, Harrison claims that seeing Seiferheld downtown on patrol is the best part of his week. That’s the best part of his week, the cop claimed.
