Meet the Tampa Bay-born siblings Kevin, 19, and Cameron, 18, who are presently enrolled in Atlanta-area colleges. No one was happier than their Grandma Donice when the two returned home for the holidays since they had achieved great GPAs this semester.
Grandma sewed the shirts from Cameron’s college, Spelman, and Morehouse College together so she could celebrate her grandchildren’s successes at once. She was incredibly proud of her grandsons. According to Kevin, this was her unique “Brag T,” according to BuzzFeed News.
Kevin said, “She must have wanted to show us both some granny love for the holiday because she knew how well we were doing in school.”
Additionally, he said that while he was “surprised” by the craftiness, he was also very touched.
Grandma Donice has always been the family’s prominent advocate of education, according to Kevin. The Dad of Kevin, her kid, received the top grade.
Since we were young, “she has always valued our education considerably more than anything else,” he said.
Donice responded that she only wanted to be able to brag 24/7, “coming and going,” when her grandson texted her to inquire why she felt the need to show off for them in this manner.
Kevin was so moved by her “Brag T” that he posted it on Twitter, where it has been retweeted about 27,000 times. It touches strangers just as deeply as if it were their grandmother.
My grandma had two shirts sewn together so she could rep me and my sister at the same time ❤️💙 pic.twitter.com/KNZLcP3M4x
