The incident happened on Monday. According to a witness who spoke to Manchester Evening News, the woman started acting up “around an hour and 20 minutes” into the journey. The passenger complained, “There was a lot of noise.”
Then she walked up to the front of the aircraft. She wouldn’t let up and was angry with the crew. She was shouting in people’s faces, and her voice grew louder and more violent.
Jet2 apologized for the delay caused by the incident and informed passengers onboard the flight via text message that the flight was being diverted to Vienna.
The airliner apologized for the disruptive behavior. To send you on your way as soon as possible, Jet2 stated, “We are working on an issue.”
According to The Yorkshire Live, the woman was led from the aircraft as it landed in Vienna by armed police personnel. Many passengers applauded as the woman was directed outside the plane. After then, the aircraft departed Vienna for Antalya, Turkey.
