It’s a tale about true love at first sight. The kind that accepts things as they are without ever asking why. one that has been present for a long time. The friendship between a dog and a human.
It was an ordinary day when this particular moment occurred. When a reporter went to an animal shelter to do a story, she wasn’t anticipating anything else. But then a very special pup came up to him. The dog simply approached the reporter intending to hug him and shower him with all of its love, without the reporter having anything to give it other than a treat.
The reporter initially wasn’t sure what to make of it. After all, they were strangers to one another. But he could’ help but give a hug, a hearty embrace, because it was so real. The reporter began to pet the dog, rewarding it with the same encouraging energy he was experiencing. It was an exchange of each of us being in the moment at the same time. People standing close were compelled by the strong connection and started taking videos of it.
The reporter’s affectionate pats for the neglected puppy made it more determined to cling to the reporter’s leg. The people who were recording the meeting drew nearer to get a better look at the dog’s face, but it was obvious from the dog’s eyes that it wasn’t going to let the reporter go.
The dog appeared to be hearing a message from the universe that the reporter and it were meant to be together.
No one could simply deny that they were connected. The reporter included. He so took the only course of action that was proper in this circumstance. He took the cute dog in and gave it a home that would be loved forever. Thankfully, the video surfaced on the Internet, allowing us to see the priceless new beginning.
