If you enjoy comedy, you’ve probably heard of Roseanne Barr. The actress was one of the most prolific comedy actors of her time, having an immensely successful career until she was ‘canceled.’
Roseanne Barr’s successful program “Roseanne” debuted in 1988. The show was an instant hit, with hundreds of thousands of people turning in to see it.
The show ended greatly to the viewers’ disappointment, but it was revived in the 2000s. The Roseanne revival was one of the most popular television program revivals in recent memory. It got excellent reviews and was only going to become better.
Until, in 2018, one tweet from Roseanne derailed the entire relaunch and her decades-long career!
We all know the actress is a spitfire who says what she thinks. She made racially offensive comments about Obama’s advisor, Valerie Jarrett, in a tweet that she later deleted.
When ABC, the network showing her show’s relaunch, asked her why she was tweeting, she stated that she had no reason. She admitted to taking Ambien before tweeting, but that did not explain what she said.
Roseanne now says in her documentary, “Roseanne: Kicked Out of Hollywood,” that she requested the network to allow her to appear on “The View” the next day to apologize for the tweet, but she never had the chance.

Since 2018, Roseanne has not worked in Hollywood. But now she has another great idea for a program. This is why she is releasing the documentary “Roseanne: Kicked out of Hollywood” to demonstrate why she deserves a second shot in the industry.
The documentary can be found on the Reelz website. The documentary’s synopsis states, “Bold, brash.” Roseanne Barr was a groundbreaking stand-up comedian who shook the comedy world in the mid-1980s and became a Hollywood mega-star with her own top-rated, long-running sitcom.
Years later, she did it again with another outstanding program, but after a controversial tweet, her top-rated comeback was canceled, and the comic legend’s career was ruined. This forthcoming one-hour documentary special provides a raw and illuminating look inside the rise, superstardom, and final pop cultural disaster of America’s Domestic Goddess like never before in Roseanne Barr: Kicked Out of Hollywood.”
And it appears like her efforts are paying off. Roseanne Barr’s return to stand-up particular will appear on Fox Nation in 2023. Jason Klarman, the president of Fox Nation, is thrilled about the prospect of Roseanne’s return.
“Roseanne is a comedy classic whose humor connects with the American public like no other,” he told reporters. Her ability to convey the problems of ordinary people and find the comedy in it all has garnered her a devoted following of millions of followers. “We are happy to introduce her comedic spectacular exclusively to the Fox Nation collection.”
Her final comedy special was in 2006, so it’s thrilling to think about what she’ll show us this time!
What are your thoughts on Roseanne receiving a second chance? Let us know in the comments!
Yay! I can’t wait!
I think she deserves another chance , I don’t think she did anything bad enough in the first place to be kicked out. Now Kathy Griffin is the one that should never have another chance . I don’t care if you are Democratic or Republican you should never do what that foul mouth bitty did.
The one thing I will say about Roseanne coming back is please, please leave politics out of your return. Just give us clean cut comedy.
So in 2022 it’s ok to teach elementary about gays, lesbians, transvestites, & ok to have killer video games & 24/7 news about killing, maiming etc & a choice of shows about single sex lives, abortion, but NOT ok for Roseanne to do comedy & make people feel happy even for an hour?? I’ve gone to Disney movies to clear my mind of all the rotten disgusting crap on tv now—and EVERYONE wonders::: why are the children so violent now???????? Why don’t they have respect for anything or anybody????????
She will implode. Her handlers should get her the help she needs.
You must be on the wrong side😂
Can’t wait for her come back and give Americans a shot in the arm with heh comedy talents.
MISSED HER AND HER TRUE AMERICAN SPIRIT!
I am thrilled to hear this news! I was really upset when Roseanne was thrown out like trash, when others in Hollywood who have really done shameful and disgusting things are still there flourishing in their careers! Roseanne was a political pawn in the Democratic war against Conservatives. The world went to crap shortly thereafter, so it’s long past due for things to be set right again. Welcome back, Roseanne….you have been missed, and deserve to have your crown back again! God bless America and her true Patriots!
Mi find Roseann is too brash and obnoxious. I have had this opinion so cep she made her “comedic“ skills known. I avoid her like the plague.
I think it’s great!
She’s not funny and never was. I doubt there will be much of an audience for this.
I love Roseanne. She is bold and honest. Funny as fuck. When they wouldn’t let her back on her show Roseanne I didn’t watch it. She is the one who made that show period.. Sorry that’s my opinion. Hope to see her rise again on another sitcom. You go Roseanne..
Love her to bits❤️
I would like to see Rosanne return. Love her comedy. She should have been able to explain what she said, and was never given the chance.
I’m thrilled!!!!!! So excited! Can’t wait! ❤️
Hurry back!!!!
Bout time! What a joke her cancelation was. Her comment was insensitive at WORST! She genuinely did not know Valery Jarrod was 1/2 black. ((I didnt Know Valery Jarrod was black)). Easy mistake to make but even so it was a genuinely unintentional. Why do we give ZERO CHANCES anymore? Only in this day do democrats commit actual UNPARDONABLE sins and never miss a days work.
I personally have never liked her comedy …. but ….if they gave the likes of Mel Gibson another go around ….. why not her.
I am looking forward to it! Not just because she’s hilarious, but we have a constitutional right to freedom of speech and can’t wait to see what she says next!
So glad she is back! Should never been “canceled” to begin with. She had a right to speak, regardless.
I haven’t watched one episode of her cancelled show since!
What the hell did she say that was so terrible?
