Following the passing of The Queen, a woman who encountered Meghan Markle while out and about in Windsor has denied rumors that she was paid to be there.
In addition, 24-year-old Isabelle Charters has denied “crazy” suggestions that their contact was a “PR ploy” and that she was “placed” in the crowd. She maintains that meeting the Duchess of Sussex made her feel tremendously excited.
The girl was seated next to Amelka Zak, a 14-year-old who surprised Meghan by hugging her in the audience and has since attracted a lot of media attention as a result of the interaction. As many people were shocked by the Sussexes’ unexpected arrival, a video of Amelka hugging Meghan quickly went viral online.
Isabelle shared her own video of the meeting on TikTok, capturing the touching moment the Duchess gave Amelka a hug before speaking to Meghan and clearly exclaiming that she was “very lovely.” On the app, the video has received over 30 million views.
Due to the extensive media coverage surrounding the video, Isabelle has returned to TikTok to discuss her encounter with Meghan and to refute suggestions that she knew Amelka beforehand or was set up “by Meghan’s PR team,” according to The Mirror.

The allegations were rejected by Isabelle, who noted that she was not the athlete from the Invictus Games and referred to them as “crazy” in order to disprove that it was a set-up. The 24-year-old also attacked a body language specialist who said that a fan in the audience was acting for pay.
