On their wedding day, very few people expect to take a math test. However, one groom really took a math test as soon as he arrived at his wedding ceremony at the request of his bride. He was unlucky because the outcomes were terrible.
According to Tribune India, one bride in Mahoba, India, canceled her wedding after she learned that the groom couldn’t recite the multiples of two.
The bride, who was doubtful of his academic qualifications, required the groom to recite Table of 2 before the garlands could be exchanged, the outlet claims. The groom arrived at the wedding hall on Saturday evening with his “baraat.”

According to The Knot, the baraat is the formal entry of the groom’s side into the wedding location. The groom rides a decorated horse while leading the group of his friends and family, who are all dancing, singing, and partying, from his house to the reception location.
The groom joins the bride at the mandap after the groom’s procession, or baraat, has arrived at the wedding. After greeting each other, the groom’s side and the bride’s side continue with the ritual. The exchange of garlands between the bride and groom then officially kicks off the wedding rituals.
But before this bride could start her wedding, she needed to find out if her fiance was being truthful about his education. Therefore, the bride examined the groom’s fundamental mathematical skills in front of all of their guests at the altar.
The bride realized that the groom and his family had lied about the groom’s education as a result of his failure. Times Now News reports that she left the mandap in disappointment and called off the wedding. The visitors were stunned.
Her family reportedly tried to talk her out of leaving, according to several accounts, but she was certain that she could not wed someone who couldn’t understand simple math.
“We were not made aware of the groom’s education by his family. Possibly not even attending school, “Tribune India was informed by the bride’s cousin. “We were fooled by the groom’s relatives. My courageous sister, however, left without concern about societal stigma.”
Despite the fact that the marriage was prearranged, according to Tribune India, the two families came to an understanding and decided to return the wedding gifts.
